About Second Half 
Needle's Eye Ministries (NeedlesEye.org) is a ministry to the Richmond business and professional community. Second Half is a "Needle's Eye" small group ministry (or cohort) for men who are in the second half of their lives (see our 2ndHalf cohort page on the Needle's Eye site). Many of us have fully or partially retired from our lifelong careers or professions, and we are finding that we have the time and freedom to take our lives in new directions. We emphasize in our small groups that God does have a plan for each of us that matches up with our gifts, talents, and passions and we encourage each other to seek out this plan. We are men who represent many different Christian denominations, and this small group fellowship is meant to come alongside and support the ministry we receive in our own churches. 
Meeting Format 
  • Our meetings usually follow this format:
  • Large Group Opening Prayer
  • Testimony/ Sharing
  • Break into Small Groups
  • Prayer requests and discussion of study book
  • End the morning in Small Group
